Join Council Member Kevin Reich and representatives from the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), Minneapolis Public Works Department and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board to learn more about efforts to improve water quality and reduce flooding in Northeast Minneapolis.
The Northeast Stormwater Management Initiative is the result of a joint partnership to implement innovative stormwater best management practices (BMPs) like tree trenches and biofiltration basins at Columbia Golf Course in Northeast Minneapolis. This initiative follows several years of monitoring and developing detailed stormwater models.
