Center for Energy and Environment “Electrify Everything” Program

Electrify Everything is a city program built by a group of teams who have come together to share ideas and promote electrification within the Twin Cities area and beyond. Science has shown the importance of replacing gas systems with electric ones for our climate, for our health, and for our wallets. Electrify Everything helps connect residents to knowledge and resources that help them understand home electrification and why it is important.  The program will provide step by step guidance so households can develop a plan to electrify their homes on a realistic timeline for their circumstances.

The program will provide information about technical and financial resources along the electrification journey. This is the community’s push to move away from fossil fuels. Everyone should enjoy healthy, affordable and efficient homes. Moving from home appliances that burn fossil fuels like gas on site to highly efficient electric options makes it easier to breathe thanks to cleaner home air, keeps utility bills predictable and can even lower them, and gives everyone a chance to take part in the next generation of caring for our planet.  https://www.mncee.org/
